Brandon Tolliver receives 20-year sentence

Brandon M. Tolliver

A man who once worked for a company who transported juveniles has received a 20-year sentence for an incident that took place on Nov. 1, 2023.
Back on Aug. 13, Judge Craig Carter sentenced Brandon Tolliver to 20 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections (DOC) for rape in the first degree.
His sentencing also included 15 years for sexual exploitation of a minor, seven years for child pornography and seven years for the first degree endangering the welfare of a child in the first degree.
The case was investigated by the Wright County Sheriff’s Office and Detective Sgt. Akers.
The original probable cause statement noted that Tolliver had been spotted on video with a juvenile at Walmart stealing Pink Whitney and vodka bottles that were later found empty.
The juvenile would eventually vomit and become unresponsive during a transport.
Meanwhile, Tolliver’s blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit to drive a vehicle. He admitted to officers that he had sexual intercourse with the victim.
