Passing of the paddle at Red’s in Norwood

Recently, Red’s Slice & Scoop owner Cindy Sullivan passed her pizza paddle over to Shawnya Wright as she recently announced her plans for retirement.
“I started this journey seven years ago, and because my wonderful hubby (Chad), I get to retire early,” Sullivan said. “God knew just the right person to keep Red’s going and she has it all. Nice, wise and plenty of energy and work ethics.”
Wright credits Sullivan on the business she’s established in Norwood, located at 190 W. Main St.
“Thank you for building this incredible restaurant from the ground up and nurturing it into the successful business it is today,” Wright said of Sullivan.
“Your hard work, dedication, and passion are evident in everything here, and I feel so privileged to inherit such a wonderful establishment. I’ve learned so much from you about running a restaurant, and I truly appreciate the foundation you’ve laid for my success. Your impact has been extraordinary, and your absence will be deeply felt. Wishing you a retirement filled with happiness and great adventures my friend.”
