Mountain Grove Panthers beat West Plains

In a modified schedule for the Family Pharmacy Panther Classic due to weather, the Mountain Grove Panthers split a pair of contests.
Their big win came against Class 5 West Plains, as they trailed through three quarters before knocking off the Zizzers, 76-69.
The Panthers had a 22-9 run in the final frame as Aden Estep made a pair of 3-pointers and scored eight points.
Kale Gardner, Brody Emery and Eli Golden combined to make 10-of-12 free throws in the fourth to seal the win.
Mountain Grove made a total of eight, 3-pointers in the win.
Kale Gardner finished with a team-high 29 points; Golden added 18; both Emery and Estep had 13; Bret Gardner scored two points; and Brady Anderson had one point. (Information on the Panthers’ 63-58 loss to Norwood is in the Pirates article.)
